The Best Ideas. Brought Together. Built to Work.

MidVox Policy Group creates practical policy frameworks that combine the strongest ideas from across the American landscape into solutions designed to perform in the real world.

Mission

Creating Innovative Policies for Americans

MidVox was created on the belief that America does not lack intelligence, talent, or capability. What it often lacks is a disciplined process for bringing the best ideas together into coherent, workable solutions. Our mission is to help close that gap by developing policy frameworks that are practical, balanced, and designed to deliver exceptional results.

How MidVox Approaches Reform:

  • We look for what works

  • We combine strength from multiple perspectives

  • We build for implementation

  • We focus on outcomes, not ideology

Policy Initiatives

MidVox Policy Group is developing a growing portfolio of practical, high-performance policy frameworks designed to help America work better by bringing together the strongest ideas from across the spectrum and shaping them into solutions built for real-world results.

About MidVox Policy Group

MidVox Policy Group, LLC was founded by Ed Gehres, Jr. in 2026 with a simple premise: the most important policy problems in America are not unsolvable — they are unsolved because the people with the operational experience to design real solutions are not the ones writing the proposals.

MidVox is a nonpartisan policy organization. It does not align with any political party, any ideological camp, or any industry lobby. Its mission is to develop disciplined, middle-ground policy solutions that draw on the best ideas from both sides of the political spectrum — solutions that are structurally sound, operationally implementable, and designed to actually work in the real world.

The name reflects the mission: Mid for the middle ground that American policy needs, and Vox for the voice that puts it forward.

MidVox provides policy development, legislative analysis, and strategic advisory services to lawmakers, trade associations, employers, and organizations navigating complex regulatory environments. The organization is available for testimony, briefings, and commissioned research.

About Ed Gehres, Jr.

Ed Gehres, Jr. is a business executive, attorney, and published author with over three decades of experience across technology, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, transportation, and entertainment. He holds a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and is licensed to practice in multiple jurisdictions. He is the author of Acquire Before You Exit: A Practical Guide for Strategic Growth, Improved Business Valuation, and Maximizing Your SMB's Exit Price Through Mergers and Acquisitions (2024). Ed currently runs Navvee, LLC, a boutique business advisory and law practice based in Las Vegas focused on mergers and acquisitions and advising businesses on how to properly structure and scale their operations.

Ed has spent more than three decades solving complex operational and systems problems for organizations in more than a dozen industries and of every size - from early-stage startups and family-owned businesses to Fortune 10 corporations. His career has included US military service, Big-5 consulting, C-suite executive leadership, general counsel roles, and strategic consulting engagements in which he designed and delivered enterprise-scale solutions for some of the largest and most complex organizations in the world. That operational perspective - built over thirty years of diagnosing how systems actually work, where they break down, and how to fix them - is what drives the structural, implementation-focused approach that distinguishes this paper from the policy proposals that have preceded it.

MidVox Policy Group was borne out of Ed creating multiple solutions to complex national, structural problems, and his belief that the cost of continued inaction was too high to keep those ideas at the breakfast table.
